Bradwell Institute claimed both soccer games from Jenkins on Tuesday at Olvey Field, while Liberty County High School dropped its games at Calvary Day.

BRADWELL
The Lady Tigers kept fighting against Jenkins after the Lady Warriors kicked in a goal to tie the game, 1-1. The Lady Tigers sprinted and fought for the ball, taking a final goal for the 2-1 win in the Region 3-AAAAA contest.
The Tiger boys followed suit, earning a 9-2 win.
Bradwell’s soccer team will play tonight at Windsor Forest. The girls’ game starts at 5 p.m., with the boys’ game to follow.
LIBERTY COUNTY
The Panther boys fell, 2-1, in a close match. The Lady Panthers lost, 3-1.
Lady Panther head coach Jarvis McArthur said the girls performed better in the second half after they adjusted their strategy. Calvary Day led 3-0 at the half.
“We held them scoreless for the remainder of the game due to solid performances by Tatiana White, Jenna Theil, Matti Keith, Jhanee O’Neal, Lynda Jimenez and Cortney Welch,” McArthur said. “Sophomore striker Jennifer Garcia put us on the scoreboard with a nice shot via an assist from Myesha Robinson. Jennifer has improved tremendously, and she is developing that scorer’s mentality. I’m very proud of the no-quit attitude that our team possesses.”
The Panthers travel to Jesup tonight to play at Wayne County High. The girls’ game start at 5 p.m. and the boys’ game will follow.
