Members of the 2014 Leadership Liberty Class will be present at a garden dedication at the Senior Citizens Inc. Liberty County Activity Center at 11 a.m. today at 800 Tupelo Trail in Hinesville.
Each Leadership Liberty class is allowed to select a group community project. The 2014 class raised funds for the Liberty Activity Center through the Ruby Tuesday GiveBack Program.
The class coordinated with Keep Liberty Beautiful to plant a patio garden at the facility. The garden includes flowers, herbs and planters donated by KLB. Additional funds raised and donated by class members will be used for the upkeep of the garden.
Senior Citizens Inc. Executive Director Patti Lyons and Keep Liberty Beautiful Director Sara Swida will be in attendance as well.
