Registration deadline is April 13 for a Leisure Travel trip at April 18 to Brunswick for a cruise aboard the 200-foot, four-deck Emerald Princess, the “Jewel of the Golden Isles.” The cost (transportation and admission) is $20 per person for active duty and spouse; $25 for others.

GC's golf scramble
Kicking off the 2015 golf season in Hunter Garrison Commander’s four-person scramble Friday at Hunter Golf Course.
Play begins at 9 a.m.
Lt. Col. Will Bowman and CSM Bruce Rock invite you to enjoy a day of competition.
The $35 cost includes play, cart, driving range balls and prizes.

Parent workshop
A workshop on standardized tests children (grades 3-8) will take in the Savannah-Chatham County Schools before the end of this school year will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. April 14.
The workshop will be at the School Age and Middle School Teen Center, 2599 S. Perimeter Road. Learn how to support your child through testing in the Measures of Academic Progress for Math and Scholastic Reading Inventory, as well as Georgia Milestones, a new state test.
Pulaski Elementary School and Southwest Middle School are working together with the School Liaison Office for the event.

Two-person scramble
A two-person golf scramble shootout – new to Hunter Golf Course – gets underway at 2 p.m. April 18.
The cost will be $70 for each two-person team and will include greens fees, cart, range balls and prizes. Prize distribution will be determined by the size of the field.
Registration will be accepted until April 14.

Block party
CYSS-registered youth in grades 1-5 are invited to a free block party from 5-7 p.m. April 17 at the School Age Center at 97 Austin Road. Post-wide garage sale
Register for the Great FMWR Post-Wide Housing Garage Sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. April 25 on Fort Stewart and Hunter.
There is no charge to register or to sell. Registration puts your site on a map for shoppers.
Only residents of post housing are eligible to sell, but everyone can shop.

Dave & Buster’s trip
Enjoy food and drinks, play hundreds of arcade games and watch your favorite teams on TV at Dave & Buster’s on April 25. The $15 per person coast covers transportation only. Register by April 17. For more information, call 767-2841 at Stewart or 315-3674 at Hunter.

Bridal expo
If there’s a wedding in your future, you won’t want to miss the Bridal Event and Expo at Club Stewart from 1:30-4:30 p.m. April 26.
It’s a one-stop place to meet with professionals and others who can help plan a wedding. Preview trends in table design, flowers, cakes, catering and décor. Learn about hair and beauty, jewelry and fashion, limousines, and fashion.
Cost is $7 per person in advance and $10 at the door and includes an hors d’oeuvres buffet.
Brides-to-be will get swag bags, and can register by April 24 for an opportunity to receive a free wedding dress. A drawing will be held for a $500 wedding reception gift certificate.

Coast “eco-exploration”
Take a 2.5- to 3-hour “eco-exploration” tour on Turners Creek on May 2. Travel through marshlands to discover the wonders of Coastal Georgia. Narration will include history, ecology and relationship of various parts of the ecosystem. Register by April 20. Cost of $30 per person includes tour and transportation.

Racquetball tournament
A women and men's single (A, B, C division levels) double elimination racquetball tournament will be held May 7-9 at 6 p.m. at Newman Fitness Center and Johnson Fitness Center.
There’s no charge for the non-sanctioned competition, but participants are asked to register by April 27.
There will be one event per person and games played to first 15 points. First- and second-place medals will be awarded in all divisions.
