Leslie “Nicki” Sackrison will be on hand to discuss and sign her book, “Awesome Women — Some Famous, Others Infamous and Those Who Were Lost in History,” at the Liberty County Historical Society meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the social hall of the Hinesville Presbyterian Church.
The National Women’s Hall of Fame has recognized Sackrison’s work as “a fascinating compilation of women known and unknown; famous and infamous... a must-read for anyone desiring to learn more about women’s contributions to civilization. It will whet the appetite and leave you wondering why we don’t know about more of these women,” said Christine M. Moulton, acting director.
