The Liberty County Master Gardeners had a Brown Bag Lecture Wednesday at Stafford Pavilion. Liberty County Extension Agent Robert Bell talked about the importance and art of pruning. The number one reason to prune is to reduce the size of a plant. Bell brought in pruning tools, and described their use. Bryan County Extension Agent David Moulder demonstrated the proper way to prune. Admission to the lecture was free if participants brought their lunch.
