GAINESVILLE - A group of parents from across Georgia has been asked to help the state Department of Education increase parent and family engagement to help promote student success.
Future Farmers of America members from Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute participated Oct. 11 in the Georgia National Fair, which ran from Oct. 6-16 in Perry. Twenty-two students from Bradwell and 37 students from LCHS attended, participating in various events including floral design, the agriscience fair, horticultural research and chapter booth display.
"Finally the state has found a group of people who are applauding the heavy whacks that legislators are giving Georgia's budget due to reduced revenues." Who would cheer these deep cuts? Criminals, of course.
