Homicide suspects investigated for weapons trafficking

The four suspects recently arrested in the Long County double homicide of Tiffany Renee York and Michael Roark also are being investigated for their alleged involvement in weapons trafficking, according to information provided by the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Officials identify 2 homicide victims

Authorities released the identities Thursday of a male and a female who were found dead around 1 p.m. Tuesday by two fishermen in Long County. According to a news release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Tiffany Renee York, 17, and Michael Roark, 20, were found slain in a wooded area off Morgan Lake Road.
