Liberty gets money for drug court

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., announced recently that Liberty County has received $203,000 in funding through the Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program. The grant will be used to start the Liberty County Drug Court program which will target all adult offenders with a drug or substance abuse problem.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that an autopsy conducted Monday at its Coastal Crime Laboratory Medical Examiner's Office in Savannah revealed that James Michael Bragg died of a gunshot wound during an alter-cation around 12 a.m. Saturday morning on Lincoln Circle in Kilkenny.
