Driving with a suspended license July 7, 2007 Georgia State Road 57 Ludowici A driver approached a safety checkpoint on Highway 57 at mile marker 57 and was unable to produce a valid driver's license. A rollover accident along Highway 84 left one person with injuries, and another rollover accident on South Main Street left a young father slightly shaken with his infant daughter, both occurring within days of each other according to Hinesville Police traffic investigator Lt. Max McLendon.
MACE alleges roommates grew pot
The Multi Agency Crack Enforcement Drug Task Force arrested two men, both active military personnel at Fort Stewart, on drug charges ranging from misdemeanor possession of marijuana to possession with intent to distribute the drug.

It's hard being a crash test dummy
A crash test dummy in a wreck-simulation vehicle sponsored by the Jesup Police Department gave a graphic demonstration of what can happen during a roll-over when it was thrown out of a window. The demonstration took place during Midway Day this past month.
Fitzgeralds saluted for aiding wreck victims
East Liberty County American Legion Post 321 commander/Riceboro Volunteer Fire Department Capt. Dennis Fitzgerald and his wife, Brenda, were recently recognized by Gordon EMS of Calhoun County for their assistance in providing medical care to people involved in a serious accident on I-75 on June 20. The Fitzgeralds provided care for six occupants of a vehicle that had rolled over.

April 16: Simple battery/family violence/criminal trespass - A woman said her live-in boyfriend pushed and shoved her during a heated argument inside their Victory Manor Mobile Home residence. She said she called 911 so her boyfriend left the house but not before punching the wall and leaving a big hole in the wall. She refused medical treatment.
Update: Employee shot at Burger King
An argument between two employees at the Hinesville Burger King Wednesday evening ended with a shooting.
