Officials identify 2 homicide victims

Authorities released the identities Thursday of a male and a female who were found dead around 1 p.m. Tuesday by two fishermen in Long County. According to a news release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Tiffany Renee York, 17, and Michael Roark, 20, were found slain in a wooded area off Morgan Lake Road.

Nov. 30: After responding to an altercation in the parking lot of a restaurant on E.G. Miles Parkway, patrol officers arrested a man for being a minor in possession of alcohol, obstruction and disorderly conduct. The man resisted arrest and continued to fight after being restrained by officers.
