Two Long County teens injured in accident

A Long County teenager had to be airlifted to a Savannah hospital Sunday after the four-wheeler he rode collided with a van on Stewart Hodges Loop. According to Long County Sheriff's Department deputies, the van and the four-wheeler collided head on at about 1 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the four-wheeler, a 16-year-old boy, hit the windshield of the van, while his passenger, a 14-year-old girl, was thrown off the vehicle. Neither teen wore a helmet. Suspects sought in Long Co. assault

Two people are wanted in connection with a case involving a kidnapping, a vehicle hijacking, an armed robbery and aggravated assault. It was reported in Long County on July 2. The incident reportedly happened between 1:30-3:50 a.m. at a residence in the Sandhill community, according to Long County Sheriff's Office Investigator Al Cato.
