Two Long County teens injured in accident

A Long County teenager had to be airlifted to a Savannah hospital Sunday after the four-wheeler he rode collided with a van on Stewart Hodges Loop. According to Long County Sheriff's Department deputies, the van and the four-wheeler collided head on at about 1 p.m. Sunday. The driver of the four-wheeler, a 16-year-old boy, hit the windshield of the van, while his passenger, a 14-year-old girl, was thrown off the vehicle. Neither teen wore a helmet. More arrests for drugs

Nov.8 Liberty County Sheriff's Office deputies, patrolling the area around Dunlevie Road, stopped Cordere Wilcox because his car was allegedly weaving. MACE agents were called to assist when the deputies said Wilcox was found in possession of 17 Xanaflex pills. Deputies said Wilcox stepped out of the car and gave the impression he was about to flee, but reconsidered and began to cooperate.
