Second arrest unlikely for fatal stabbing

A second arrest in the Nov. 5 stabbing death in Long County appears unlikely, law enforcement officials say.

Amber alert for 12-year-old canceled

An amber alert for 12-year-old Julieta Yoselin has been canceled. The girl was found Thursday at a residence in metro Atlanta. She was reported to be in good condition. The South Carolina girl went missing from the Clemson area earlier this week.

Jesus Alanda Lozada, 30, is being held in connection to Yoselin's disappearance. He is in custody in the Fulton County Detention Center. Lozada will likely be charged w ith kidnapping once he is extradited to Clemson.

Post housing fire displaces four families

An early morning fire in a Fort Stewart housing area Wednesday damaged four families' homes. No injuries were reported, Fort Stewart spokesperson Kevin Larson said.
