Three people are facing felony drug charges following their arrests Saturday in the Sand Hill Community of Long County, according to law enforcement authorities.

Jan. 14: Burglary, forced entry - Three people house-sitting a Pointe South Drive residence called police and reported a break-in. A carport window and a living-room window had been broken, and an officer noticed a gloved handprint on the window. A television, Nintendo Wii and two laptop computers were missing. The complainants could not provide any serial numbers or more detailed descriptions of the missing items. A detective was notified, and the complainants were given victims' rights information and instructions for obtaining a copy of the report.
Reginald Hubbert came home to Riceboro during his Christmas break from art school in San Francisco. Around 10:30 p.m. Jan. 14, Hubbert was walking on the shoulder of Briar Bay Road when he was struck from behind by a Toyota Camry, allegedly driven by Henry James, also of Riceboro. More than three weeks later, Hubbert still is not out of the woods.

Dec. 27: Matter of record - A Hinesville woman walked into the sheriff's office and told deputies her ex-husband had called from California about six years ago and had then threatened to bury her. The woman said she has had no contact with him since, but was told he was moving to the area. She requested a report because she fears for her safety.
