Richmond Hill Police search for missing girl

Richmond Hill Police are asking the public for help in finding missing teen Kayla Marie Hartley, 14. Hartley, of a Ricegate Drive address in Richmond Hill, has been missing since April 11, police say. She is listed as a runaway. Anyone with information is asked to call RHPD at 756-5645.

Fugitive wanted in Gum Branch murders caught

Jason Howard, who has been sought in connection with the shooting deaths of his mother and stepfather in Gum Branch in 2004, was captured in Macon, while trying to allegedly breaking into vehicles.

According to a press release issued by Macon Police, Howard was arrested at approximately 12:30 a.m. Friday. A Macon Police sergeant saw a man breaking into vehicles inside of the fenced area of Enterprise Rental at 2135 Riverside Drive. The man was caught inside a vehicle.
