LCSO deputies involved in high-speed chase

Shortly after midnight Sept. 21, a Liberty County Sheriff's Office deputy stopped black Ford F-150 driven by a man the deputy suspected was intoxicated. Before back up could arrive, the driver of the truck fled, driving east-bound on Highway 84 at speeds of over 100 mph.

Authorities say Bryan Co. victim was shot

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that an autopsy conducted Monday at its Coastal Crime Laboratory Medical Examiner's Office in Savannah revealed that James Michael Bragg died of a gunshot wound during an alter-cation around 12 a.m. Saturday morning on Lincoln Circle in Kilkenny.
