Insurance agent on advisory panel

The Georgia Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioners office has selected Barry K. Downey, owner of Axiom Insurance Agency in Hinesville, as one of six persons to be a Regional Advisory Committee member for property and casualty insurance for 28 Southeastern counties in Georgia. Downey is the only agent selected from Liberty County by the commissioner's office to hold this position.
