Line Drive wins Cal Ripken tourney

The 13U Line Drive baseball team, out of Pooler, went 7-0-1 at the weeklong Cal Ripken Experience Tournament last week in Aberdeen, Md. The team, which includes Hinesville native Christian Ruff, tied New Canaan, 11-11, before winning the championship game, 4-3, over the formerly undefeated Virginia Panthers.
