Hinesville 10U Gators win first place

The Hinesville 10U Gators boys soccer team won first place March 3 at the North Florida Cup on Jekyll Island. Team members are Kendall Anderson, Keagan Toole, Palmer Whitney, Mark Alan McGarry, Casey Rearley, Dustin Brown, Kyle Osteen, Evan Toole, and Christopher Dargan. Coaches are Keith, Jared, and Vera Anderson.

Part-time athletes take up the cause

The employees of Georgia Power are looking to help find a cure for cancer. Each year, they join the Relay for Life campaign, insisting that every penny matters when it comes to finding a cure. On Saturday those pennies added up to $2,500 in the second annual Relay for Life Softball Tournament.

There’s a difference in stroke vs. match play

Ace nets BI coach 3-year lease on Lexus

Bradwell Institute golf coach Ken Griffin hit a hole-in-one Friday and went home in style, winning a free three-year lease on a Lexus IS250 during the third annual Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security Golf Tournament sponsored by Chatham Parkway Lexus at Taylor's Creek Golf Course on Fort Stewart.
