Former Liberty County High School football player Shadrach Thornton had to sit out the first game of the season for the North Carolina State Wolfpack due to off-the-field legal trouble. Since then, however, Thornton has picked up where he left off last season and currently leads the Wolfpack team in rushing yards with 606 yards on 127 carries.
