Liberty County High School's boys' basketball team had a rough time at Lovejoy High Wednesday evening in the Sweet 16 game of the state playoffs. Lovejoy outscored the Panther boys 64-34 to end Liberty's state run. Read more in Friday's Coastal Courier.

Panthers fall in baseball

The Liberty County High School baseball team lost to Benedictine, 11-3, on Thursday in Savannah. The boys' game against Brantley County, scheduled for Friday, was postponed due to rain and will be rescheduled. The Panthers hosted a doubleheader against Windsor Forest on Saturday. Those scores will be in Wednesday's Coastal Courier.
