The Tigers play at Groves today at 4:30. host McIntosh County Academy at 5 p.m. tomorrow and will close out the season with a Region 3-AAAAA game against Benedictine at 4:30 p.m. Friday for senior day. If the Tigers hold on to second place in the region, they will host a first-round state playoff game May 6.
Coastal Pawn wins fifth Chamber Classic
The fifth annual Liberty County Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic presented by Spine & Sport teed off Friday at Cherokee Rose Country Club with 24 teams in attendance.
Long Chamber tourney to be held Saturday
The Long County Chamber of Commerce will hold a golf tournament Saturday at the Cherokee Rose Golf Course in Hinesville. Registration for the event will begin at noon, and the first tee-off is at 1:30 p.m.

Basketball leads to bigger dreams
Scott's All-Stars AAU league basketball team suffered a few losses but learned a valuable lesson about education during their second tournament, held April 16-17 at Jenkins High School in Savannah. Q: John and Chris were playing the fourth hole in their Saturday men's event. John hit his ball from the fairway and was almost sure that he went out of bounds. He announced to Chris that he was hitting a provisional ball. Before hitting his provisional, John replaced his divot and dropped a new ball as near as possible to the spot where he hit his last shot. Did John proceed in accordance with the rules?
