Tigers shut out Panthers

Liberty County High School on Friday had been looking to avenge last week's baseball loss to Bradwell Institute, but it didn't happen. Instead, the Tigers team claimed a 10-0 shutout win at home over the Panthers. The game ended in the sixth inning.

FPCA soccer boys beat Alleluia

It's no wonder college scouts have been checking out the First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys soccer team and signing players. The squad finished as state runner up last season and is poised to make another state run this year. On Friday afternoon, they helped their chances by beating Alleluia Community School, 5-2, at St. James Field. Highlander Clark Sukaratana signed to Point University on Friday morning and was the first Highlander to score a goal that afternoon. Low Country Storm win tournament in Orlando

The Low Country Storm girls traveling basketball team recently won its first tournament of the year. The girls brought home championship medals in the Ladies First Classic Basketball Tournament held March 28-30 in Orlando. Team members are Patra London, Tierra Ramsey, Anazha Kincaid, Mya Howard, KeShawdra Cooper, Malaka Elix, Elexxus Wrighton, Kiara Edwards, Jeurnae Young, Alyssa McDuffie, Raina Richardson and Brianna Lord.
