Bradwell falls to Savannah High
GARDEN CITY - A wild football game between Bradwell Institute and Savannah High on Thursday night had a little bit of everything: a fight between two players, an interception and kickoff returned for touchdowns, and two quarterbacks combining to throw for six touchdowns and more than 450 yards.
Softball season over for Long County girls
Its official: The softball season has come and gone. Long County High School wrapped up its season Wednesday and Thursday with a 6-3 loss to Liberty County and a 14-2 loss to Appling County. Wildcats stun Panthers at homecoming
Despite a 92 yard return for a touchdown in the opening kick of the game by Liberty's Tay Tay Bacon, the Richmond Hill Wildcats upset the Panthers' homecoming winning 14-6 at Donell Wood Stadium tonight. Minutes after scoring their first touchdown Shadrach Thornton plowed through blockers and ran to the outside for a 51 yard touchdown that was wiped away by a holding call. The Panthers had several opportunities inside the Wildcats' 20 but were unable to punch through the goal line.
LCHS seniors have their day
It's been a tough rebuilding season for the Liberty County High School softball team, but the squad honored their seven seniors Wednesday afternoon with a 6-3 win over visiting rival Long County.

Long County fell to 0-5 with a 39-7 loss to unbeaten Vidalia on Friday night in Ludowici, but first-year coach Ron Flott said he sees reason for the Blue Tide players to keep their heads up.
Tigers win at Ebenezer
The Bradwell Institute cross-country teams added a couple more wins to their respective seasons Saturday at the Ebenezer Invitational at South Effingham. There were 11 teams participating in the event with about 120 runners in each division.
