Brown de-commits from Georgia

Bradwell Institute offensive lineman Chester Brown has reportedly de-committed from the University of Georgia, according to news reports on ESPN and in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

BI bounces back big against Long

Bradwell's basketball teams combined for 147 points against Long County Saturday night. The Bradwell Lady Tigers overwhelmed Long County, 61-16, while the boys conquered the Blue Tide, 88-42, in the nightcap.

Highlanders are back in the swim

After a four-year absence, First Presbyterian Christian Academy once again has a swim team. The four Highlanders are eighth graders Julianna Hensely and Kathleen McGovern and 10th graders Diana Nikolovski and Chandler Zabel. The team has competed in four meets to date including this past weekend's meet at Albany State University for the Deer-Windsor Invitational.

Busy night for hoops in Hinesville

Liberty County High School earned their first Region 2A-AAAA wins Friday night against Wayne County. The Lady Panthers won 52-44 and the Panther boys earned a 66-59 win over Wayne. Over at Bradwell, the girls beat Savannah High 51-38 and the boys fell 91-68 to the Blue Jackets.
