BI Tiger Touchdown Club hosts soiree for new coach

New Bradwell Institute football coach Greg Hill formally was introduced to Tiger Touchdown Club members Thursday at a meet-and-greet hosted by the group in the school's cafeteria. The gathering originally was scheduled to be held at member George Holtzman's house, but rain prompted club Vice President Kenneth Howard to move the party indoors.

Tide end spring practice with a scrimmage

After two weeks of spring practice and conditioning, the Blue Tide football team dressed out Thursday for its annual Blue and White Scrimmage. Both the varsity and junior varsity squads saw plenty of action as parents and fans cheered from the bleachers. Head coach Ron Flott said the game went well, and all of the players enjoyed being back on the field.
