Farmers market kicks off with a crowd

The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market is held from 4-8 p.m. each Thursday now through Oct. 27. HDDA officials say vendors will be selling area-grown fresh produce, grass-fed beef, eggs and dairy products, honey, arts and crafts, soy candles, jams and jellies and customized woodwork. Local legal icon honored

Municipal Court Judge Gary Sinrich was honored Tuesday for his 23 years of service to the city of Hinesville. Sinrich told those assembled that he loves his job and does not plan to retire anytime soon. Municipal court is held at 8 a.m. every Wednesday.
