Tybee Island to host pro volleyball tour in May

WHAT: Tybee Island will proudly host the thirdrd Annual EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, featuring elite professional athletes, free agents and amateur volleyball players. This event is free and open to spectators. Special contests and promotions will be held throughout the tournament. The EVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour is a network of select volleyball professionals from across the country competing for top honors and awards on beaches across the U.S.

Sugarland and Lauren Alaina to perform at Wild Adventures

Valdosta, GA – Wild Adventures Theme Park (WA) adds four concerts to its already star-studded 2012 Family Concert Series. Georgia native Lauren Alaina joins Sugarland on Saturday, July 28 along with country music singer songwriter Canaan Smith. Rock band Abandon and alternative band The City Harmonic join Newsboys' lineup Saturday, April 14. WA's Family Concert Series features 19 performances, all included with a 2012 Season Pass or park admission.

2012 Savannah Urban Arts Festival announces schedule, guests

March 29, 2012 (Savannah, GA) - The 4th Annual Savannah Urban Arts Festival will take place April 15-22 at several venues around the city. There are some exciting new additions to the schedule this year, which will make this the most packed schedule yet. There are loads of great events throughout the week, but three in particular we'd like to highlight: The SUAF benefit concert and local music showcase, the performance by Kristina Wong on Friday night, and the final Saturday of the festival, SUAFest!
