1,900-acre manufacturing facility sought for I-16 ‘megasite’

The recently formed Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Joint Corridor Development Authority has filed an application with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a 1,904.5-acre project site to "construct a mega-site manufacturing facility" at Highway 280 and I-16, according to a public notice filed Thursday.
