McHughes celebrate golden anniversary
Chuck and Ruth McHugh celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 30. They were married Nov. 30, 1957 in Valley Forge, Pa. He retired from the Army in 1978 as a first sergeant. Ruth retired from Fort Stewart's Exchange as a supervisor in 2002. Hendrixes celebrate 25th anniversary
Sherrie and Eddie Hendrix celebrated their 25th anniversary Sept. 11 by having a big party with their children and friends. Their children and children’s spouses are Clint and Gina Hendrix, Ashley and Chris Teston, and Sheila Hendrix. They also have three grandchildren, Tyson, Stella and Kenna. The couple resides in Ludowici.
Riceboro couple celebrates 61st anniversary
Simon and Jessie Mae Hines of Riceboro celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Sept. 21. Mr. Hines is a retired civil servant from Fort Stewart. Mrs. Hines retired from positions with Tri-County Protective Agency, Headstart and The Department of Family & Children Services. They are the proud parents of 10 children, with two preceding them in death. They also raised four other children. They have 28 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mileses mark third anniversary
