Liberty dominated quarterfinal game

The Liberty County Panthers boys' basketball team advanced to their third straight Final Four Wednesday night after an 89-72 victory over the Islands High Sharks. The Panthers dominated most of the game, pulling away from the Savannah team in the third quarter.

FPCA breezes through round one

On Wednesday, the FPCA Highlanders took another step towards their goal of being back to back state champions. FPCA defeated Lagrange Academy in the first round of the GISA state playoffs. With this 86-42 blowout, the Highlanders move on to the Elite 8.

FPCA basketball cleans up in region

The Highlanders are once again celebrating. On Friday night at Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon, the FPCA basketball program won big games and big awards. The FPCA girls beat out Twiggs Academy 25-13. With this win the Lady Landers locked up third place in the region. The Highlander boys won against Memorial Day school 69-40, earning FPCA their 9th consecutive region championship.
