Lady Tide Fall to Adairsville 1-0

On Tuesday the Long County High School girls soccer team's season came to an end with a heart-breaking loss to Adairsville High School (15-4). Playing in Ludowici the Lady Tide and the Tigers went tooth-and-nail against each other for the majority of the game. But with less than two minutes to play in regulation Adairsville's Gillian Johnson punched in a goal to steal the win 1-0. Though Long County lost, head coach Sabrina Caines had nothing but praise for her team and their opponents.

FPCA's track team medals at State

The FPCA track team competed in the GISA Track State Tournament in Albany Georgia, April 27-29. The small team consisted of just 6 participants, 5 boys and 1 girl. Despite the small roster, the Highlanders grabbed championship medals in several events and placed well above expectations in team standings.
