Bradwell's Lady Tiger tennis team is making their first trip to the state playoffs today as they head to Douglasville to take on Chapel Hill High School. Panthers take ‘ugly’ win at Burke

The first time Liberty County played against the Burke County Bears four weeks ago the Panthers came out on top with a 10-6 win. Friday night, the Panthers edged out a 3-point lead to win 15-12 in what baseball coach David Samuel said was not their best performance.

Long County traveled to Jeff Davis and the Bradwell Tigers were in Jesup playing Wayne County Wednesday. Both squads came out on the losing end of the bats with the Blue Tide losing 17-7 and the Tigers falling 11-5.
