Liberty Thunder earn second place

The Liberty County Thunder baseball team finished second at the Fall Nationals, losing to the championship team from Florida. The Thunder will have some time off before the 2010 season begins in February. Players and coaches said they are grateful for their supporters.

LCHS wins playoff game

Three years ago, the Panthers went to LaGrange and lost 26-0 during the first round of playoffs. On Saturday the Liberty County team returned to Callaway Stadium and defeated the Grangers 16-13.

Bradwell Tigers hone skills at Blue and White game

Bradwell Tigers basketball players scrimmage each other during the Blue and White Game Tuesday at Bradwell's gym. The game let the players log court time and showcase their talent as coaches watched for form, technique and skills. The game also served as training for the Hinesville Officials Association's new referees.
