GSU sets six home games for 2007

STATESBORO - Six games in Paulson Stadium and a regular season finale at Colorado State University highlight the 2007 Georgia Southern football schedule. Director of Athletics Sam Baker announced the schedule last week, following approval by the University Athletics Committee.

Tiger boys lose heartbreaker, streak

The Bradwell Institute Tigers had their three-game win streak snapped in a heartbreaking loss to Wayne County this past Saturday, in Hinesville. The Tigers fell by a score of 45-47 to the Yellow Jackets.

Panthers get mixed results with Wildcats

The Lady Panthers hosted the Camden County Wildcats last Saturday and were able to hold on in a game that came down to free-throws for the win (45-42). The key for the Panthers was the teamwork between no. 12, Kourtney Alexander and no. 14 Nisha Adams. On several occasions Alexander was able to pass the ball to Adams who had positioned herself for the lay up at the basket and points scored.
