Tide player kept trying hard and hoping

On Wednesday, Long County High School athlete Gerald "L.G." Williams Jr. signed a letter-of-intent to play football for Fort Valley State University in 2017. Williams, who played linebacker for the Blue Tide football team said that it was a dream come true getting a scholarship to play college ball.

Liberty County High School Panthers quarterback Jaalon Frazier, cornerback/wide receiver Tracy White, and defensive end/middle linebacker Antonio Golden signed national letters of intent to play college football Wednesday morning on National Signing Day.

Blue Tide star heads to Georgia Tech

On Wednesday Long County High School standout football player Tariq Carpenter signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017. Carpenter who was rated as a 3-Star recruit by 24-7 Sports, said that playing for the Rambling Wreck was beyond his belief.
