Touchdowns Against Cancer
It was a battle between the Panthers and the Warriors as Liberty County High School hosted Jenkins in a football game held Friday at Donell Woods Stadium. There would be four lead changes before regulation ended but the Panthers took the 32-21 win.
Bradwell Institute put up a valiant fight in the second half of their home football game against Warren County Friday night.
On Friday the Long County High School football team hosted Windsor Forest in a non-region game held in Ludowici. In a very physical outing where both teams played hard, the Knights beat the Blue Tide 25-15.
It was a rough night for the Highlanders who lost to Saint Andrews on Friday night 47-12. The Highlanders were able to hold Saint Andrews Lions scoreless for most of the first quarter. With about two minutes left in the first quarter, the Lions scored their first touchdown.

On Friday, Long County High School will play its first game of the year in front of home fans as the Blue Tide take on the Windsor Forest Knights.
Hurricane Hermine forced the cancellation of last Friday's game between First Presbyterian Christian Academy and Trinity Christian. A makeup game has not been rescheduled.

Saber Security & Investigations, LLC recently donated $100 to the Liberty County High School marching band. The donation will help with band expenses such as transportation and equipment. The donation was made on the last day of band camp in August.
