Sun sets on BI's season opener

After falling behind 8-0 at Benedictine after three innings, Bradwell Institute's young baseball team rallied with seven runs in the fifth inning. However, the game was called in the bottom half of the inning because of darkness, sending Bradwell to an opening day 9-7 loss.

Panther golfers sweep local match

Liberty County High School's boys and girls golf teams showed no signs of rust nor did their clubs as they defeated Bradwell Institute and Long County in the season opener at Cherokee Rose Country Club on Feb. 22.

Bradwell soccer from practice to field

On a sunny afternoon, the soccer teams took to the practice field to prepare for the game against Groves. The boys and girls soccer team face a challenge in growth this year as coach Gregory Cooke and assistant coach Lauren Drury are met with young players. This year, the girls only have four starters returning and the boys only have five.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - In the University of Miami's third year as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Hurricanes will take on Georgia Tech for the third-straight time in the opening round of the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament. Thursday's 8 p.m. meeting in Greensboro, N.C. will also mark the third meeting between the teams this season, with the `Canes looking for their first win over the Yellow Jackets in 2006-07.
