This season, Liberty County High School baseball will be under new leadership as Josh Davis replaces Tony Glazer as the head baseball coach for the 2017 season. Davis worked with Glazer as an assistant for three years and has been the offensive line coach for the Liberty County football program for the last six years.
The Liberty County High School boys varsity team defeated Tattnall County High in the Region 2-AAA basketball tournament finals with a final score of 72 to 63. This is the third straight region tournament Liberty County won and the second straight region championship for head coach Julian Stokes. The region win secures a home state playoff game for the Panthers.
