Honor vows made before God

In the Bible book of Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 we find these words, "When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay."

The heart of a man

God commanded Moses to teach the people to observe His commandments in the land that they were to possess. God's commandments taught the Hebrews God's ways of how to observe and follow His ways. Every Sunday morning people come together to worship and fellowship in their local churches. For most people, the church is part of their extended family. The church is not just a place to come, but a place where they can feel a sense of love and kinship.

Take me to your leader

Today's scripture, Matthew 3:13-15(NIV): Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?"
