Being a child of God has many blessings. Those in the world who have no religious belief, have to struggle through life's problems mostly alone. They might have a friend who will comfort them, but that comfort has limitations.
"If we say, we will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: If they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die." - 2 Kings 7:4.
Truthfully, the Christian faith is all about this thing called love.
It is the day before Easter. Almost 2,000 years ago, this was the darkest day in all of history. The Son of God had died the day before, been buried in a borrowed tomb and, along with his body, they buried the hopes and dreams of the future.

Over 2,000 years ago, there was this one called Jesus Christ who came on the scene in history. He preached, taught and healed the sick. Crowds gathered just to see if he was going to perform another miracle.
Dad used to tell me, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Coach would say, "No pain, no gain." And one teacher would remark, "We learn best through adversity."
The Bible plainly states that all men have sinned (Romans 3:23). Sin, though not inherited, has been a plague of each generation of mankind. Each individual sins and is responsible for their sins.
Sometimes life throws us curve balls - situations, circumstances and problems that we just don't know how to handle.
This week has been beautiful, and I think spring is finally here to stay. We have been fooled before with a cold front sneaking its way back in. Well, speaking of being fooled, Tuesday was April Fool's Day where many a folk were hoaxed or tricked. Most of this was all done in fun and brought much-needed laughter.
