It's community fellowship time. Each year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, members of faith from Liberty County and Fort Stewart come together for the much-anticipated Mayor's Thanksgiving Service. The event is at 6 p.m. today at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 809 Veterans Parkway in Hinesville.
It is confusing for many, but it should be clearer to all of us how we see the events of our lives.
Today, as we remember our veterans, I am reminded that Jesus once taught, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13).
