Post's drive-through flu-shot clinic delayed

Due to the government shutdown, Fort Stewart's annual drive-through flu-shot clinic has been rescheduled for Oct. 16-17.

Stewart Refill Pharmacy expands coverage

Beginning Monday, Oct. 7, the Fort Stewart PX Refill Pharmacy will fill all new prescriptions from civilian providers in addition to continuing to serve as the primary refill prescription pick-up location. This change should decrease customers' wait time at the Winn Army Community Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy, which will continue filling prescriptions for patients seen at Winn ACH.

BRUNSWICK - The Southeast Georgia Health System Wellness on Wheels (WOW) mobile health vehicle will provide screenings at several area locations in October. All mammograms require a physician's order. Insurance is accepted, and financial assistance is available to patients who qualify.

Healthcare reform workshop Tuesday

The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will have a health-care reform workshop from 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday in the board room at the chamber offices, 425 W. Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville. The class will discuss the Affordable Health Care Act and its impact on businesses. Guest speakers will include Lisette Villa of Liberty Tax, DeLisa Espada of Strategic Business Solutions and David Morris of Diversity Health Center.
