Lewis Frasier honor students raise funds for Warriors Walk

After a successful fundraiser, Lewis Frasier Middle School's National Junior Honor Society students present a check to buy 150 wreaths for the upcoming Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony. The wreaths will be among the 439 wreaths placed on the memorial trees on Fort Stewart's Warriors Walk at a public ceremony at noon Saturday. The fifth annual ceremony is held in honor of the 3rd Infantry Division soldiers who died as a result of service in Iraq and Afghanistan. Walker Middle School FBLA collects blankets for needy

Walker Middle School's Future Business Leaders of America sponsored the third annual "Warm a Life" blanket campaign this month. The club started the blanket drive in 2009 when Mark Cooper of Factor's Cottage, a gift store in Savannah, asked the group to help collect blankets for area homeless.
