Principal cooks for staff

Scott Carrier, principal of Frank Long Elementary, enjoys flipping flapjacks for his staff at the school. They also enjoyed grits, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and hash brown casserole. The breakfast was a treat for all the hard work the staff contributed to the school's recent fall festival.

GED testing in Jesup

The GED test will be given at Altamaha Technical College, Jesup campus from 5-9 p.m. Nov. 5-6. Registration for testing must be done in person on a walk-in basis in Room 302-A on either one of the following dates: Monday (8 a.m. to noon), Tuesday (8 a.m. to noon) or Wednesday (8 a.m. to noon or 5-7 p.m.).
