BI band raises more than $40K for uniforms

The Tiger Band Boosters Club of Bradwell Institute picked up a $6,620 check June 12 at Hinesville Ford, giving the band the last bit of money needed to purchase new uniforms to the tune of about $40,000.

FLASH courses available to LCSS teachers

The Liberty County School System, through the teaching and learning department, will offer Focused Learning After School Hours (FLASH) courses for all teachers beginning this month. One-hour FLASH courses, held on announced days, will provide resources, tools and take-away items for the teachers' toolkits. For each 10 FLASH courses completed, educators will earn one Professional Learning Unit.
