At the Hinesville Rotary Club's meeting on Feb. 12, six Interact Club students from Liberty County High School, Bradwell Institute, and First Presbyterian Christian Academy participated in Rotary's high school speech contest. Stephanie Castillo (center) from BI placed first, Brandon Stafford (left) from FPCA placed second and Rebecca Woods from LCHS placed third. FLASH courses available to LCSS teachers

The Liberty County School System, through the teaching and learning department, will offer Focused Learning After School Hours (FLASH) courses for all teachers beginning this month. One-hour FLASH courses, held on announced days, will provide resources, tools and take-away items for the teachers' toolkits. For each 10 FLASH courses completed, educators will earn one Professional Learning Unit.
