BoE adjusts student uniform policy

The Liberty County Board of Education has made some changes to the dress code for the 2009-10 school year. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of these changes. Some of the changes for elementary students include only solid white or navy polo shirts (no ruffles, lace, elastic, or smocking will be allowed). Blouses and button down shirts are no longer allowed. Elementary students will now be able to wear any color belt.

LFMS teams win First in Math

Lewis Frasier Middle School's seventh-grade First in Math Team placed first in the state among all seventh-grade teams and seventh in the state among all teams. Lewis Frasier's sixth-grade First in Math team placed first among all sixth-grade teams and second in the state among all teams. First in Math is a nation-wide comprehensive Web-based program offering fact practice, test-prep and math activities.
