The Liberty Theatre Company, formed by the Hinesville Area Arts Council, made a $500 donation to the Dorchester Civic Center, Inc. on May 3 as a way to thank the center and its board for allowing the company to stage its recent production, "Vanities," at the restored school.

A crowd of Army spouses, children and dogs, most clad in bright yellow T-shirts, gathered under gray, drizzly skies Saturday for the Yellow Ribbon Walk on Fort Stewart.
