Hi-Fidelity Civic Club crowns 2009 queen

The Hi-Fidelity Civic Club hosted its annual Holiday Pageant on Dec. 13, at the Shuman Center in Hinesville. Luckey Maria Verna Jean Merritt was crowned "Miss Hi-Fidelity" and "Miss Pink Rose." TyshaJuana L. Stevens was first runner-up, and Jaquita A. West was second runner-up and also "Miss Congeniality." Other contestants were Lexington Louvett Collins and Miss Neosha D. Capers.

Barnards celebrate golden anniversary
