Club plants tree on Arbor Day

Judy Shippey, president of the Morning Glory Garden Club, and other club members planted a yoshino cherry tree in honor of the late Faye Chandler, also a longtime club member. The tree was planted at Main Street Park on Friday, which Hinesville recognized as Arbor Day. Judy Mobley gave a dedication speech, commending Chandler for her dedication to the garden club and the city of Hinesville.
