Scout leaders, volunteers earn awards

The Liberty County Scoutmaster and Cub Scout Leader of the Year awards were given to Boy Scout Troop 410 leader Joel Jacobs and Pack 410 Cub Scout leader Lienne Hill on Dec. 13 at the annual Boy Scout/Cub Scout volunteer recognition dinner. In addition, the Spark Plug award was given to Deuce Correa. The award honors volunteers who add a "spark" to their troops or packs.
